Aside from a three player variation, Chuo Dai Di has a two-player game.

The number of cards each player recieves varies. Some deal only 17 cards while the remaining cards are set left unused. Others deal 21 cards to each player and leave 10 cards unused.

Still, some deal 13 cards each and leave 26 cards unused.

Regardless of the number of cards dealt or unused, the two-player game is the same as the four-player version.

You can even choose to let a player who passes draw a card or cards, as in the three-player game.
